I've been diagnosed with adjustment disorder.
But I’m glad that there’s a name for my anxiety other than just a ‘general’ anxiety disorder. This also means that my therapist and I have a treatment plan and I hope that one day I’ll be better. On a scale of 1-100 (though she’s told me that a 20-30 is suicidal) I’m highly functioning at 71-80. It’s just that I’m not anywhere near as happy...
